What is Vuto?
Vuto is a voice-first assistant being built for everyday tasks. The broader product is still pre-launch. A public Vuto Lilt preview is available today at talk.vuto.ai so you can test the voice experience and its current bounded tools.
What can the live preview do today?
You can talk or type, ask for current weather or a currency conversion, open safe hotel and restaurant search options, and request a Vuto Concierge time. Weather and currency results come from named public sources. The developer page also offers a bounded launch-credit API key.
What can the preview not do?
The current public preview does not place production phone calls, book travel or appointments for you, make payments, order products, cancel subscriptions, send messages, or change accounts. It never claims that a provider handoff is a completed booking.
How are live weather and currency answers verified?
Weather uses Open-Meteo and currency conversion uses Frankfurter with European Central Bank reference rates. Vuto labels the source in the result card. If the source cannot be verified, the preview says it is unavailable instead of guessing.
What happens when I ask for a hotel or restaurant?
Vuto prepares a fixed Google Maps search and shows one Open booking options control. Nothing opens until you click. Selection, availability, payment, and confirmation all remain with the provider.
Can Vuto make phone calls?
Not in the public preview. Production calling remains a product goal, and the current execution-engine prototype uses an offline simulator so it cannot dial a business or create a real appointment.
How does the approval step work?
Today, Vuto requires a deliberate click before opening provider options or confirming a Vuto Concierge request. The broader product is designed to stop before any payment, message, cancellation, booking, or account change, but those actions are not enabled in the public preview.
What makes Vuto different from ChatGPT, Siri, or a regular chatbot?
Vuto is focused on a voice-first path from a request to a verifiable result or a clear handoff. The current preview is deliberately narrow: it shows working tools and honest failure states rather than presenting the full product vision as already available.
Does Vuto work with services that don't have an app or API?
Not yet as a public capability. General browser and phone execution are being developed behind approval and audit boundaries. The live preview currently uses named public APIs and one fixed-provider search handoff.
What about my privacy and data?
Do not enter passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information into the preview. Provider credentials stay server-side, and result cards contain bounded public data. Full consumer-product data handling details will be published before broader access.
What does Vuto cost?
Vuto has not published pricing yet, since it is still pre-launch. Pricing details will be shared as the product gets closer to launch, and people on the waitlist at vuto.ai will be among the first to hear.

What languages and accents does Vuto support?
The interface is currently in English. The preview accepts conversational voice and text, while language coverage varies by capability. Weather and currency intent handling is currently tested in English and French.
Can I interrupt Vuto while it's talking?
Yes, Vuto uses full-duplex voice, meaning it listens while it speaks. You can jump in and interrupt it mid-sentence at any time, just like you would in a normal conversation with a person.
